You would like to visit Denmark and finally relax? Our enchanting windmill offers not only a place to escape to, but also an exclusive vacation experience far from the typical neighbourhoods of summer cottages.
Built in 1825, the mill has been continously maintained and renovated since the 1960s and today offers its residents an intriguing atmosphere with much space and comfort. Situated in the centre of the Village of Tostenaes on the western side of Moen, the most beautiful island in Denmark, pastoral idyll, peace and serenity await you at the mill.
Explore and wander the diverse and unique nature of the island, or rest in a patio chair on the terrace of the house with a superb view over Westmoen to the sea.
Features
The Mill is suitable for a group of 2 to 6 people and consists of:
a hallway with cabinets-- from here one passes into the comfortably furnished living room. The room contains a sofa corner, television and CD player, and is heated by a wood stove.
The semi-open kitchen contains a gas stove, oven, a refrigerator with a small freezer and a dish washer.
Access to the second floor is via a steep yet sturdy stairway.
To the right is the bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink and floor heating.
To the left one enters the bedroom with a double sofabed, television and a door to the smaller bedroom, containing a single bed.
As well, access to the rooftop terrace with its fantastic view over the landscape and the surrounding nature is found here. Garden furniture, a grill and two patio chairs are waiting for you here.
A second steep yet sturdy stairway leads to the
uppermost living area with three beds and well preserved milling wheel in the centre of the room.

You will find fresh towels and bed linnen in the mill.
Use of electricity costs 2.00 Danish Krones pr. kWh and should be read and paid on the day of departure. Please leave my house as clean as you found it. Thanks
